弗雷格论“同一性”

Frege on Identity

弗雷格在历史上首次把“相等”引入逻辑学。为了获得形式系统的一般性,他增加了一个“内容同一”符号。后来他又放弃“内容同一”而转向“对象同一”,试图寻求“相等”与“同一”之间的统一。但这样处理会导致同一性难题。由于弗雷格的同一性理论中存在许多不完善的地方,特别是对“同一性”概念缺乏正确的分析,导致他最终未能真正解决同一性难题。

Frege introduced equality to logic for the first time on the history.He added a content identity sign into logic system to gain the generality of a formal reasoning system.But the sign was abandoned,and he turned to identity of object later.He tried to find the unification of equality and identity.However,it would result in identity statements puzzle.Nevertheless,there are many defects in Frege's theory of identity,especially the lack of correct analysis of identity,which leads to his failure to solve the puzzle of identity.
