中医院校英语专业建设思考与实践——以辽宁中医药大学为例

Reflections and Reforms on the Development of English Department in TCM Universities——Taking Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as An Example

随着"一带一路"建设的推进,中医药国际化的进程正在加快,对具备中医知识的高层次语言人才的需求也日益迫切。与此同时,高等外语教育改革已拉开序幕,"培养什么样的人"和"如何培养人才"成了当前中医院校英语专业亟须再思考的问题。该文从当前中医院校英语专业建设的现状入手,结合新国标要求,以辽宁中医药大学英语专业建设的思考与实践为例,以期为中医院校英语专业建设和课程体系的改革提供借鉴。

With the development of"belt and road initiative",the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine is accelerating,which produces an increasingly urgent need for language talents specialized in TCM. In the meantime,reforms in foreign language teaching of higher education are happening,and it is necessary for English departments in TCM universities to rethink about"what kind of talents should we cultivate"and"how to cultivate talents". Based on the reality of English departments in TCM universities,referring to the new requirements of National Standards for Higher Education,this paper takes Liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine as an example to show our reflections and reforms,in the hope of providing insights for further discipline development and reform on the curriculum system of English major.
