摘要
小泛素样修饰物(SUMO)是新近发现的与泛素相似的一种修饰蛋白,其参与的SUMO化修饰是一种动态可逆的蛋白质翻译后修饰,SUMO可通过共价结合不同的底物蛋白,参与调节蛋白质稳定、亚细胞定位、基因转录调控、信号转导及促进蛋白酶体降解等。SUMO化修饰在结肠癌、乳腺癌、前列腺癌等恶性肿瘤的发生、发展以及转移中扮演重要角色,但SUMO在恶性肿瘤发生发展过程中的分子机制及作用尚未完全明确。因此,深入探究SUMO化在各类癌症进程中发挥的作用,将为恶性肿瘤的诊治及预防提供新方法。
Small ubiquitin-like modifier(SUMO)is a newly discovered modified protein similar to ubiquitin,and its SUMOylation modification is a dynamically reversible post-translational modification of protein.SUMO can participate in protein stabilization,subcellular localization,gene transcriptional regulation,signal transduction and promotion of proteasome degradation by covalently binding to different substrate proteins.SUMOylation modification plays an important role in the occurrence,development and metastasis of malignant tumors such as colon cancer,breast cancer and prostate cancer,but the molecular mechanism and role of SUMO in them are not yet fully clarified.Therefore,further study on the role of SUMOylation in various cancer processes which will provide new methods for the diagnosis,treatment and prevention of cancer.
