基于生态翻译学的“黄帝内经”英译标准商榷

English Translation Standard of"Huang Di Nei Jing"from The Perspective of Eco-translatology

中医典籍书名简明扼要却内涵丰富,其英译标准研究是中医术语英译标准化研究的重要内容。《黄帝内经》书名英译多样。对国内外译者出版的10个《黄帝内经》英译本以及国家中医药管理局、世界卫生组织西太区、世界中医药学会联合会、魏迺杰和冯晔的中医术语英译标准中《黄帝内经》的英译进行统计比较,运用生态翻译学理论,从语言、文化和交际三个维度对“黄帝”“内”“经”的英译分别进行讨论,认为"Huangdi’s Classic of Medicine"既简洁准确又能传递文化内涵,是汰弱留强后的选择,可作为其英译标准。

The titles of TCM classics are concise,but their connotations are rich.The study of their English translation standard is an important part of the standardization of TCM terminology translation.English translations of Huang Di Nei Jing are diverse.Based on statistical comparison of its English translations in the 10 published English versions and the influential English translation standards of TCM terminologies issued by NATCM,WHO,WFCMS,Nigel Wiseman and Feng Ye,the English translations of"huangdi""nei"and"jing"are discussed respectively according to the three dimensions of language,culture and communication in the theory of eco-translatology.The conclusion is"Huangdi's Classic of Medicine"can be used as English translation standard,because it is concise and accurate and conveys cultural connotations.
