During the construction of road and bridge projects, it is Inevitable to encounter weak foundations. Problems such as bumps, cracks, sliding and so on will seriously affect the safety of people’s lives and property. In order to improve this situation, effective measures must be taken to deal with the problem of weak foundation in road and bridge engineering, and to ensure the overall quality and safety performance of road and bridge engineering. This paper expounds the basic concepts, characteristics, treatment principles and hazards of weak foundation in the construction of road and bridge engineering, and analyzes the the treatment measures of weak foundation in road and bridge construction.
