摘要
基于新经济地理学的D-S模型,将效用函数中的农产品消费替换为住房消费,并引进交通便捷度参数,分析劳动力在不同住房成本及工资水平下的跨城工作行为,研究发现在通勤距离相当的情况下,当中心城市与周边城市的相对工资比的自然对数大于周边城市与跨城区域的交通便捷度之差时,跨城工作就会出现。同时通勤距离越短,交通越便捷,劳动力跨城工作的意愿就越强烈。加大交通基础设施建设投资,不仅有助于减缓中心城市的住房压力,而且能为周边边缘城市带来更多的生活消费,促进当地经济增长,实现边缘城市的跨越式发展。
Based on the D-S model of new economic geography,the article replaces the consumption of agricultural products in utility function with housing consumption,introduces the transportation convenience parameters,and analyzes the behavior of the labor force commuting between different cities with different housing costs and wage levels.It′s found that when the relative wage ratio between the central city and the surrounding city is larger than the difference between the traffic convenience of the neighboring city and the cross-city area,the cross-city work will emerge.At the same time,if the commuting distance is shorter and the transportation is more convenient,the labor force will more willing to choose the cross-city work.Greater investment in transport infrastructure will not only help alleviate the housing pressure in central cities,but also bring more living expenses to the surrounding marginal cities,promote local economic growth and achieve leapfrogging development in marginal cities.
