Metonymy in Construction Construal as One of the Metonymic Explorations of Grammar

在认知语言学领域,转喻和隐喻都被认定为一种认知机制,且转喻比隐喻更为基础。构式和转喻具有密切关系,构式为转喻的发生提供了绝佳的环境;转喻在构式识解中扮演着重要的角色,贯穿对特殊构式(如成语构式)和一般构式(双及物构式)的语义识解。对于祈使句构式的识解,基于转喻的事件域认知模型相比较之前的研究更为立体、全面,因而也更具解释力。

Metonymy,like metaphor,is recognized as a cognitive mechanism in the field of Cognitive linguistics,and more fundamental than metaphor.Constructions and metonymy are in a natural connection and the gestalt characterization of the construction provides the metonymic basis;metonymy plays an important role in construction construal,which runs through the semantic understanding of general constructions and special constructions;for the construal of imperative constructions,Event-domain Cognitive Model is more comprehensive and explanatory.
