性理与事功的贯通——陈傅良《经筵孟子讲义》刍议

Fusing Human Nature and Heavenly Principle into Merit and Contribution:Study on Jingyan Mencius Lecture Notes by Chen Fuliang

《经筵孟子讲义》是陈傅良为宋宁宗讲学的讲稿,浓缩了其学术思想精髓,但至今未有学者对其进行系统研究。陈傅良借助《孟子》经义的诠释,寄寓了其以孔子之道一学术、明教化、正人心、成圣王的政治理想,并形成了以义理解经,说理透彻,劝诫帝王等诠释特点,具有言事功而不废性理,重外王而不失内圣,经世致用、兼容并包的学术特质。朱熹因学术旨趣及学派竞争等原因,将永嘉之学贬斥为功利之学的观点,是有失公允并带有门户之见的。

Jingyan Mencius Lecture Notes collected the lecture sheets used by Chen Fuliang when giving lectures to Emperor Ningzong,and it,which has not been systematically studied ever since,condensed the lecturer’s academic thought essence.With the help of interpreting Mencius classical argumentation in Mencius,Chen Fuliang implied his own political ideal into Confucius views concerning unifying academic life,enlightening educating,rectifying people’s mind and becoming a sage king.It formed the interpretive characters of understanding argumentation with morality,incisive argument and admonishing emperors,and also the academic features of arguing merit and contribution without losing human nature and heavenly principle,valuing external emperors without losing internal sage and virtue,innovative application in reality,and all-around inclusiveness.Because of academic interest and scholar competition,Zhu Xi demoted Yongjia’s learning as utilitarian one,which was unfair and biased.
