With the development of information technology,more and more enterprises improve their market competitiveness by managing information system.As a manufacturing enterprise,it is of great practical significance to implement an ERP information management system.By introducing the development process of ERP system,the paper analyzes the application status of ERP system in Chinese manufacturing industry,and takes a typical manufacturing enterprise as an example to conduct an empirical research and analysis on the content,process and effectiveness of the application of ERP system in manufacturing enterprises.
