及物性视角下环境类TED演讲的生态话语分析

An Ecological Discourse Analysis of Environmental TED Speeches from the Perspective of Transitivity

文章基于深层生态学,以系统功能语言学及物性理论为理论框架,运用语料库方法,研究环境类TED演讲语篇中的语言特点并分析该语篇中所蕴含的生态主义思想,旨在探讨该环境类演讲语篇中所体现的演讲者与观众,人与自然之间的生态关系。研究发现环境类演讲语篇主要通过及物性系统中的物质过程,关系过程和心理过程来构建演讲者与观众以及人与自然的生态关系。物质过程构建人类,自然社会中的其他物种,以及自然之间相互影响,相互依存的生态关系;关系过程和心理过程则构建人与自然平等以及演讲者与听众之间和谐的生态关系。

With deep ecology as a guiding principle,transitivity in systemic functional linguistics theoretical framework,and corpus-based approach as the method,the linguistic characteristics of environmental TED speeches and the ecological ideas contained in the texts are analyzed in order to explore the ecological relationship between the speaker and the audience,human and nature reflected in this environmental speech.It is founded that environmental speeches mainly construct the ecological relationship between the speaker and the audience,and the human and nature through the material process,relational process,and mental process.Among them,the material process constructs the ecological relationship between human beings and other species in the nature;and the relational process and mental process builds the harmonious ecological relations between human beings and nature,and between the speaker and the audience.
