“承”与“弃”——“陶隐士”形象海外“译变”轨迹研究 被引量:2

A Study on the Inheritance and Alienation in the Artistic Image of T'ao the Hermit in the Poetry of T'ao Yuan-ming during the Process of C-E Translation

摘要 在新时期中国构建国际话语权的历史背景下和文化“走出去”战略的影响下,中国古典诗歌作为中国古典文学的一个重要组成部分,已经成为了中国文化不可或缺的重要载体,其译介的重要性越来越得以凸显。陶渊明作为中国古代最杰出的诗人之一,其作品的译介在19世纪晚期就已经在西方世界开始,但由于历史政治等多方面原因,直到20世纪70年代,其作品的译介才引起中国译者的关注。本文以四本在西方社会传播最为广泛的陶诗译本为研究对象,对比原作,通过定量及定性分析来研究陶渊明“隐士”形象在西方社会传播过程中的变化,并以此为切入点寻找变化产生的原因。期望此研究能够成为研究中国古典诗歌海外接受程度的一个有效例证。 Along with the development of Chinese cross-culture communication,the translation of the Chinese ancient poetry has already become one of the crucial means for Chinese mastering strong discourse in the international communication and cultural“going out”.In the western world,the poetry of T'ao Yuan-ming has a long history of translation for over a hundred years.However,the translation of the poetry of T'ao Yuan-ming attracted the attention of Chinese translators in 1970s.This study focuses on the changes of the artistic image of T'ao the hermit during the process of C-E translation.Taking the most popular English translation versions of T'ao Yuan-ming's poetry as examples,this paper tries to explore the reasons and effects of the changes in the artistic image of T'ao the hermit with a view to enriching the practice of translating Chinese ancient poetry.
