《安重荣出行图》研究--一位五代粟特将领的“神化”

A Study on the“Scene of An Zhongrong’s Excursion”——The Deification of a Sogdian General in the Five Dynasties

2000年河北正定发现了五代后晋成德军节度使安重荣的德政碑残碑。在赑屃碑座上保存了一幅骑狮出行图,表现的正是碑主人安重荣。这幅作品在构图形式、人物职能特别是骑狮像这几个方面模仿了汉地流行的"文殊并侍从图",但是人物服饰、伎乐等方面还是保存着浓厚的粟特因素。狮子在粟特文化中有着特殊的含义,代表着英雄与王者。这幅线刻的作者运用汉地熟悉的文殊菩萨塑造、神化了粟特裔的将领。

In 2000,a fragmental stele commemorating An Zhongrong,governor of the Chengde army in the Jin era of the Five Dynasties,was found in Zhengding,Hebei province.The base of the stele is made in the form of a tortoise and contains a line carving of a man riding a lion,which conforms exactly to the scene of An Zhongrong’s excursion from the same period.The composition,official capacities of the various characters,and the image and identity of the lion-riding figure all bear noticeable similarities to images of Manjusri and his attendants that were popular in Han-controlled regions,though the costumes and the musicians still retain strong Sogdian characteristics.In particular,the lion has special meaning in Sogdian culture as a symbol of heroes and kings.Research has concluded that the sculptor of the line carving applied the general principles of composition used in depictions of Manjusri and his attendants well known in the Han regions,with the ultimate purpose of deifying this Sogdian general.
