A Brief Explanation of Filial Piety Classic Seen in the Han Dynasty Wooden Slips from Diwan

《地湾汉简》中收录了一枚编号为86EDHT:17的简,所载内容见于今传本《孝经·诸侯章》,但却与之有异,或是汉代经师对《诸侯章》相关语句所作注解的残文。同时,该简所载的内容与肩水金关遗址T31出土的《孝经》残册具有一定的关联性,或是该册所未见的部分内容。

In Han Dynasty Slips from Diwan there is a slip numbered 86EDHT:17,the contents of which can also be found in extant copies of"Biography of the Princess,"a chapter in the Book of Filial Piety.The text of this particular slip differs in some significant ways from that of the canonical text on filial piety.It is believed that these differences might be the result of the annotations made by Confucian teachers of the Han Dynasty when they encountered sentences relevant to the content of"Biography of the Princess."At the same time,however,the text of the slip from Diwan also resembles the incomplete text of the copy of the Book of Filial Piety unearthed from excavation site No.31 at Jianshuijingguan.The researchers believe that the slip from Diwan may be part of the missing content not found in the recently excavated copy of a classic text.
