Stele culture is a unique"local knowledge"of the Yao community in Dayaoshan of Guangxi,which highlights the unique and distinctive ethnic and cultural characteristics of the Yao ethnic group in Dayaoshan.It is the cultural representation of the folk social system of local people,which embodies their unique living customs and shows the distinctive characteristics of the folk literature and arts.Tapping the"locality"of stele culture and interpreting its inherent cultural connotations are of great significance and value for the in-depth development of researches on the cultural memory of the Yao ethnic groups in Dayaoshan.
