Advancing the Political Work of the Party to Provide a Strong Underpinning for the Building of SINOPEC into a World-Leading Enterprise

党的政治建设是党的根本性建设,是马克思主义政党的根本要求、全面从严治党向纵深发展的内在要求、坚持和加强党的全面领导的必然要求,是办好国有企业的根本性保证,也是中国石化打造世界领先洁净能源化工公司的使命要求。面对严峻复杂的宏观形势、行业大势和公司发展趋势,必须旗帜鲜明讲政治,进一步增强加强党的政治建设的自觉性和主动性,坚定坚决深化推进党的政治建设。

Political work is a basic element of the building of the Party,the fundamental requirement the Party must meet as a Marxist party,an internal demand arising from further progress in ensuring full and strict governance over the Party,and a natural requirement in upholding and strengthening overall Party leadership.It also underpins the success of state-owned enterprises,and thus is a mission SINOPEC must fulfill in order to build itself into a world-leading company in the clean energy sector.In face of the complicated and challenging macro climate and to keep up with industry trends and support the development of the company,efforts must be made to take a clear political stand and further enhance the consciousness and initiative of strengthening the Party’s political work,and resolutely deepen the Party’s political work by further improving the political stance,strengthening political guidance,enhancing political ability and cultivating political ecology.
