育滇省师资·增教育之效——西南联大师范学院与战时云南“中等学校教员暑期各科教育讲习讨论会”

Cultivating Teachers and Improving the Education in Yunnan:Research on the Teachers College of National Southwest Associated University and the“Educational Seminars for Secondary School Teachers in Summer Holidays”in Yunnan Province during the War

于1938年间增设的西南联大师范学院作为战时重要的师范教育培训机构之一,在完成为地方培养高质量的中小学教师使命之外,还为增进师范院校对地方师资培育的功能,开展了“中等学校教员暑期各科讲习讨论会”,为西部地区特别是云南省培训了数批优秀的中学师资,一定程度上改变了当地中学师资质量不高的状况。这一探索注重在短期培训内集中较强师资,并紧密结合当地实际需求的活动内容、灵活多样的服务方式和严格、科学的管理,有效地提升在地教师的教育教学能力,也促进了云南地方教育事业的发展,很好地映射出彼时联大师范学院在学术研究与社会教育之间、研究理论与社会实践之间的互动状况。

As one of the most important training institutions for normal education in wartime,the Teachers College of National Southwest Associated University established in 1938 not only completed the mission of training high-quality primary and secondary school teachers for local areas,but also carried out the“Educational Seminar for Teachers of Secondary Schools in Summer Holidays”to improve the function of normal college in training local teachers,which had trained many excellent middle school teachers for the western region,especially for Yunnan Province and changed the low quality of local secondary school teachers to some extent.This exploration focused on the concentration of excellent teachers in the short-term training,activities that closely combined with the actual needs of local areas,flexible and diverse service methods and strict and scientific management.It had effectively improved the local teachers education and teaching ability,promoted the development of local education in Yunnan Province,and well reflected the interactions between academic research and social education and between research theory and social practice in the Teachers College of National Southwest Associated University.
