摘要
Professor Zhou Nanjing(周南京)passed away four years ago,yet his voice is still in my ears,his smile in my eyes and his spirit in my heart.In regard to the study of overseas Chinese history in China,Zhou Nanjing is the name to be always remembered.A scholar who dares to tell the truth and perfectly combines academic ideas with academic conscience,Zhou is a typical Chinese intellectual with a lofty virtue worthy of respect among the historians of overseas Chinese studies.As a world-known expert in the field,he is a patriotic overseas Chinese with deep feelings for his motherland.He left us on May 17,2016 at the age of 83.Today,his works and views are still guiding the overseas Chinese studies in China.
