As an eletrie locomotive widely used in China's railway operation,it is of great signif.cance to ensure the safety of Ss4 electric locomotive.In order to deeply study the performance of a series of damage caused by power cabinet failure of SS4 electric locomotive,and put forward further analysis and understanding of the specific performance,so as to put forward further improvement measures,so as to effectively reduce the failure rate of SS4 electric locomotive power cabinet.This paper systematically summarizes and discusses the frequent accidents of SS4 electric locomotive due to power cabinet failure,analyzes the causes of the failure from the theory and practice,hoping to help SS4 electric locomotive reduce the failure rate,improve the rationality of power cabinet design,and improve the operation efficiency of SS4 electric locomotive.
