This paper introduces the innovation and application of the key technology of the material information system for steelmaking production in the 150 t furnace area of Xuansteel, and mainly expounds the application background, general idea, logistics tracking principle and process, data reasoning rules, steel consumption management, hot metal measurement and correction method, implementation effect, etc. After the implementation of the project, the timeliness and accuracy of information collection are ensured, and the construction of automation and information support system for steelmaking production is promoted.
