摘要
针对Yb∶YAG板条增益模块的特性,开展了高亮度均匀泵浦耦合系统的设计与实验研究。通过理论计算发现泵浦的功率密度与Yb∶YAG的激光提取效率有关。为提高泵浦亮度,采用空间/偏振复合拼接方式实现将4个LD进行合束。实验获得合束后激光二极管的总功率为25 kW,合束效率约为90%。证明的该结构有效的解决目前Yb∶YAG板条激光晶体因泵浦功率低下而导致的功率和效率下降的问题。
The design and experimental research of high-brightness uniform pump coupling system are carried out for the characteristics of Yb∶YAG slab gain module.Theoretical calculations show that the power density of the pump is related to the laser extraction efficiency of Yb∶YAG.In order to improve the pump brightness,the spatial/polarized composite splicing method is used to combine the four LDs.After the experiment was completed,the total power of the laser diode was 25 kW,and the combining efficiency was about 90%.The proven structure effectively solves the problems of the current power and efficiency degradation of the Yb∶YAG strip laser crystal due to low pump power.
