千载知音:论刘熙载的陶渊明情结

A lifelong bosom friend:Liu Xizai's acceptance of Tao Yuanming

有“粹然儒者”佳评的刘熙载一生贞节固穷而不改其乐,其安贫乐道思想来自对陶渊明的追慕和效仿,主要体现在文学创作、生活情趣、美学追求、精神皈依等方面。晚清内忧外患之际,刘熙载以参悟陶学求得静心立命之所,达到安顿心灵、回归自然之功效,为从事学术研究和构建美学思想奠定坚实基础。

Liu Xizai,labelled with a good reputation as a“pure Confucian literati”,was chaste and poor all his life,but never changed his happiness.His thought of poverty and happiness came from the pursuit and imitation of Tao Yuanming,which was mainly reflected in literary creation,life interest,aesthetic pursuit,spiritual conversion and so on.At the time of internal and external troubles in the late Qing Dynasty,Liu Xizai achieved the effect of settling down the mind and returning to nature by comprehending Tao's thoughts,which laid a solid foundation for his academic research and the construction of aesthetic thought.
