摘要
采用问卷调查法,结合加利福尼亚思辨倾向量表中文版与学生雅思写作期末成绩,使用SPSS在线分析系统分析比对,考查学生思辨能力中好奇心、开放性、系统性、分析性、寻真性、自信度和成熟度七个维度与雅思写作task 1和task 2分数之间的关系。分析结果显示,思辨能力与雅思写作分数不存在相关性。结合萨丕尔-沃尔夫语言相对论分析,语言对思维/文化的形成有影响。学生在二语写作中存在语言障碍,未能自如表达在母语中可能体现的思辨能力。解决方法需要从学生与教师出发,提高学生第二语言水平,在思维层面锻炼写作技巧,加大各种话题素材的输入,通过观点与论据的提炼实现语言与思辨能力的综合提升。
This thesis employs California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory(CCTDI-CV)in the form of questionnaires and analyzes the relationship between seven dimensions including inquisitiveness,open-mindedness,systematicity,analyticity,truthseeking,confidence in reasoning and maturity of judgment in students’critical thinking disposition and their IELTS writing scores in the final exams via SPSS online analysis system.The analysis shows there is no relevance between students’critical thinking disposition and IELTS writing scores.Combining Sapir-Whorf’s language relativism to analyze this phenomenon,the author clarifies the influence of language on the formation of thinking/culture.Compared with their mother tongue,the language obstacles in students’second language writing hinder them from expressing their critical thinking freely.The solution entails the combined efforts of teachers and students to improve the students’language proficiency,exercising writing skills from the thinking aspect and increasing the input of resources related to various topics.Students’critical thinking ability as well their command of language will therefore be promoted comprehensively through the summary of viewpoints and supporting details.
