华人华侨文献资源的建设和开发——以泉州华人华侨文献为例

The Construction and Development of the Special Collection of Overseas Chinese Documents:A Case Study of Quanzhou

华人华侨文献记载着侨胞们艰辛的海外奋斗史和各时期珍贵的侨情侨讯,保护、整理和开发华人华侨文献资源,对新时期开展侨务工作,发展地方经济、教育和文化等具有积极的意义。文章通过对泉州市华人华侨文献建设情况进行分析,指出其取得了初步成果:设立专门机构、组建专业队伍、编制目录索引、建立特色数据库等。分析其存在缺乏系统规划、重视不足和共建共享程度低等问题,并提出应完善文献建设保障体系、广泛收集华人华侨文献资源和提高综合服务能力等建议。

The overseas Chinese literature records the overseas Chinese arduous struggle history and the precious information of overseas Chinese in various periods.The protection,collection and development of overseas Chinese literature resources are of positive significance to the development of overseas Chinese affairs and the development of local economy,education and culture in the new era.The paper analyses the significance,current situation and shortcomings of the construction and development of overseas Chinese documents in Quanzhou.Based on the analysis,this paper points out that the preliminary results have been achieved,such as the establishment of specialized institutions,the formation of professional teams,the compilation of catalogue index and the establishment of characteristic databases,etc.Some suggestions are put forward,such as the government’s systematic planning,the construction of overseas Chinese documents collection system,the broadening of collection channels and the improvement of comprehensive service capacity.Through these measures,we can promote the collection,preservation,development and innovation of overseas Chinese documents.
