There are some differences in content,structure and background between oral archives on public emergencies and general oral archives.This paper analyzes the research and practice status of the oral archives on public emergencies and elucidates the special meaning of them.Then it discusses the subject,object and method of the resources construction of oral archives on public emergencies,and finally proposes that archives incorporate diverse and innovative thinking and do a good job in function transformation in the resources construction of oral archives on public emergencies.
