襄阳沈岗墓地(西区)邓国墓葬发掘简报

Excavation Report on Tombs of Ancient Deng State at the Western Section of the Shengang Cemetery in Xiangyang City

沈岗墓地位于襄阳市高新区团山镇余岗社区沈岗西部,2004~2010年共清理两周至明清墓葬千余座,以东周时期墓葬为主。其中本次报道邓国墓葬23座,均为小型长方形竖穴土坑墓,方向朝南,葬具多为单棺,随葬器物除1座墓葬出有铜器外,余皆为小件玉、水晶器和珍珠等。墓葬年代属春秋早期。

The Shengang cemetery is located in the western part of Shengang Village in Yugang Community of Tuanshan Township in High-tech Zone of Xiangyang City.Between 2004 and 2010,over one thousand tombs were excavated at the site,most of which are dated to the Eastern Zhou period while still some dated roughly between the Zhou and Ming-Qing Dynasty.Twenty-three tombs belonged to ancient Deng State,all being small,rectangular-shaped vertical earthen pit tombs which,facing south,contain single coffin and small pieces of jade,crystal,and pearl objects.Bronze artifacts were found in one tomb only.All the twenty-three tombs are dated to the early Spring and Autumn period.
