语言创造性研究及其对语言教学之启示

Enlightenment of Research on Language Creativity for Language Teaching

创造性是语言的根本属性。许多语言学家和哲学家对语言的创造性都有不同程度的论述,本文从笛卡尔、洪堡特、索绪尔、乔姆斯基等人对语言创造性的见解入手,对语言的创造性加以梳理和评价。本文认为,从笛卡尔到乔姆斯基,他们对语言创造性的看法,体现出不断的继承和发展的关系,这也对语言教学起到了一定启示。

Using language is a creative activity,and creativity is the fundamental attribute of language.Many linguists and philosophers have discussed the creative aspects of language use to varying degrees.This paper starts with the views of Descartes,Humboldt,Saussure and Chomsky on the creativity of language,and then elucidates and evaluates the creative attribute of language.From Descartes to Chomsky,their views on linguistic creativity reflect the relationship between continuous inheritance and development,which has certain enlightenment to the language teaching.
