Zhang Weizhong and Traditional Chinese Archery

张唯中是近代第一部有关中国传统射箭的专著《弓箭学大纲》的作者。他一生致力于传统射箭技艺的复兴和发展,贡献巨大。对张唯中的生平、交谊、论述等进行综合的文献考察,研究发现:张唯中所著《弓箭学大纲》是对中国传统射箭现代化发展的重要尝试,他所编订的传统射艺教程高瞻远瞩,为传统射艺从业余运动,到学校体育,再到竞技运动的分层发展奠定了基础。同时,提出的“弓箭学”一词为后来传统射艺的学科化发展提供了早期重要的学理依据。

Zhang Weizhong is the author of the outline of archery,which is the first monograph on Chinese traditional archery in modern times.He devoted his life to the revival and development of traditional archery and made great contributions.This paper analyze for the lifetime companionship,and discussion by means of literature.The study found the outline of archery is important in the development of modernization of Chinese traditional archery.He is forward-looking about traditional archery,which should be a basic from amateur sports,school sports,to athletics sports stratified development.Meanwhile,the word"archology"provided an important academic basis for the later development of traditional archery.
