Visual Arts Education and Cultural Confidence

面对现代科技文明、现代传播媒介生成的当下视觉文化环境,面对即将到来的第四次产业革命给世界政治、经贸格局带来的新变化,就中国视觉艺术教育现状提出两个问题:一、中国视觉文化的特点是什么?二、当下中国视觉艺术教育实践的核心点是什么?由此,本文在中西跨文化比较的镜像中提炼对中国视觉文化基本特征的描述;分析当下中国视觉艺术教学改革的核心点;解读“新时代”中国视觉艺术教育文化自信建设的愿景与路径。

In the context of the current visual culture arising out of modern science, technology&civilization and modern media of communications and new change to the global landscape in politics and economy and trade caused by the upcoming fourth industrial revolution, two issues are noteworthy given China’s current visual arts education: I. What are characteristics of China’s visual arts? II. What are key points of practice in China’s current visual arts education? In this paper, through cross-cultural comparison between China and Western World, basic characteristics of China’s visual culture are hereby set forth;key points in China’s ongoing reform on visual arts education are analyzed;understanding is developed on the vision and roadmap for cultural confidence building in China’s visual arts education in the "new era".
