摘要
徐悲鸿作品《奴隶与狮》(1924)揭示着许多信息,包含他在巴黎期间所受到的学院艺术传统的影响,如艺术典范与知识分子生活在这件作品中我们可以看到古典文化的伟大传承、艺术表现、人体解剖学与历史両的学院传统实践,参照了从文艺复兴到20世纪绘両传统,并影射当时爱尔兰剧作家萧伯纳饶有趣味的戏剧作品。其作品主题为当时法国共和派挪用表现政治信念,富有欧洲传统的图像亦被用来诠释基督教意义,而萧伯纳则轻松表达其怀疑论立场。徐悲鸿両作《奴隶与狮》综合了古典文化视角与现代性气质。
Slave and Lion(1924)by Xu Beihong revealed much information,such as the academic art traditions he learnt about when in Paris,the art classics and the life of the intellectuals.This painting showcases the heritage and artistic expression of the classical culture,the human anatomy and the application of the academic traditions of the history paintings,reflects the painting traditions from the Renaissance to the 20th Century,and mirrors the entertaining dramas by the Irish playwright Bernard Shaw.The theme of the work is the political beliefs of the French Republicans.The European images are also employed to interpret the Christian significance.Bernard Shaw expressed doubt in a humorous way.The work combines the classical culture with the modernity.
