β-榄香烯治疗胃癌的作用机理及临床研究现状

Research status of basic and clinical research progress of β-elemene in the treatment of gastric cancer

胃癌是临床上最常见且致死率很高的恶性肿瘤,如何改善胃癌的治疗效果、提高治愈率是当今研究的热点及难点。β-榄香烯作为一种抗癌新药,具有疗效显著、药物不良反应少等优点,但作用机理尚不明确,仅有研究表明β-榄香烯能够显著抑制胃癌细胞的增殖。通过对β-榄香烯治疗胃癌的作用机理、临床应用的现状及亟待解决的问题进行了整理分析,将为其今后的药理研究、临床化疗中的应用和提高癌细胞药敏性等方面提供一定的理论依据。

Gastric cancer is the most common and mortal malignant tumor in clinic. How to increase the efficacy and cure rate of gastric cancer is the main research object and challenge in the field. As an novel anticancer drug, β-elemene has many advantages like high efficiency and low incidence of adverse drug reactions, however, its underlying anticancer mechanism is still unclear. There were only a few studies which shown that β-elemene can remarkable inhibit the proliferation of gastric cancer cells by now. By analyzing the mechanism of effects of β-elemene on gastric cancer treatment, the current situation of its clinical application and the problems needed to be solved urgently, this review will provide a theoretical basis for the future pharmacological research, application in clinical chemotherapy and improvement of the drug sensitivity of cancer cells of β-elemene.
