Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and China is now striving for a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In this process,bright prospects coexist with risks and challenges.The Chinese people must fully meet these challenges and difficulties.This calls for a proper solution to the polarization caused by the excessive gap between the rich and the poor,the employment issue that is fundamental to people's livelihood,the construction of ecological civilization,the complex struggle in the ideological field and the strict governance of the party in every aspect.The Chinese Communist Party and government must adhere to the people-centered principle and properly address these risks and challenges by taking necessary measures,so as to lay a solid foundation for the smooth development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
