英语专业中国文化教育课程体系建设——兼谈“中国文化概论”课程教学模式改革

Construction of Chinese Culture Course System for English Major and Reformation of Teaching Mode o“f Introduction to Chinese Culture”

中国文化走出去的背景下,英语专业加强母语文化教育成为必须。但仅开设一门“中国文化概论”课程,无法实现母语文化教育的多重目标。通过相关课程体系的建设,以课程群、课程模块及讲座为主要渠道,实现中国文化教育与英语语言学习的有机融合,并使其贯穿整个本科教育阶段;同时改革“中国文化概论”这一基础课程的教学模式,通过分解转移教学任务,提高该课程教学效果,为学生的后续学习打好基础。

In the context of Chinese culture“going global”,enhancing English majors’study of the culture is a must.Only one corresponding course offered by colleges is extraordinarily unequal to the extensive and profound content of the culture;consequently reaching the multiple objectives of the Chinese-culture education is out of the question.Establishing a course system for English majors,including the curriculum group,curriculum modules and theme lectures,can help integrate the Chinese-culture education and English language learning and help keep the education throughout the whole process of undergraduate programs.In addition,reforming the teaching mode of“Introduction to Chinese Culture”can promote the efficiency of the course and help students get prepared for further study.
