潘懋元:中国高等教育学的奠基人

Pan Maoyuan:The Founder of the Discipline of China Higher Education

潘懋元先生不仅是我国高等教育学的奠基人,高等教育改革的推动者,青年学者的引路人,也是我的良师益友。潘先生从20世纪50年代开始研究高等教育,改革开放以后,编写出版了我国第一本《高等教育学》。他对高等教育从历史到现状,从中国到外国,从外部到内部,从宏观到微观,开展了全方位的研究,发表了许多论文,提出了精辟的见解。他建立了我国第一个高等教育研究机构,培养了大批人才。在鲐背之年,他仍然不离讲台,是教书育人的楷模。

Pan Maoyuan is the founder of the discipline of China higher education,the facilitator of higher education reform,the guide of young scholars,as well as my scholarly mentor and beneficial friend.Pan Maoyuan has studied higher education since 1950 s;after the reform and opening,he has published the Study on Higher Education,the first book of higher education in China.He has researched higher education comprehensively,from the aspects of history,the present,China,foreign countries,exterior,interior,macro and micro.He has published lots of papers,and put forward the incisive opinions.He has established the first institute of higher education research in China,cultivating a large number of talents.Even aged 100,he is still teaching,who is the model of teachers.
