Preparation and Antibacterial Properties of Low Density Polyethylene/Quaternized Chitosan Composites

摘要 采用熔融共混法制备低密度聚乙烯(PE-LD)/壳聚糖季铵盐(QCTS)复合材料和PE-LD/壳聚糖(CTS)复合材料,通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)进行了表征,分析了复合材料的热稳定性、力学性能和抗菌性能。结果表明,复合材料在220℃以下具有较好的热稳定性,QCTS较均匀分散在基体中。相对CTS,QCTS可以显著提高PE-LD的抗菌性能。随着QCTS添加量的增加,复合材料的抗菌性能和拉伸弹性模量得到提高,但复合材料的拉伸强度和断裂伸长率降低。当QCTS的质量分数为20%时,复合材料对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抗菌率均可以达到99%,拉伸强度为(10.55±0.11)MPa,拉伸弹性模量为(109.08±1.25)MPa,断裂伸长率为(11.90±1.28)%。 The low density polyethylene(PE-LD)/quaternized chitosan(QCTS)composites and PE-LD/chitosan(CTS)composites were prepared with melt blending and characterized by scanning electron microscope.The thermal stabilities,mechanical properties and antibacterial properties of the composites were examined.Results show that the composite has good thermal stability below 220℃,and QCTS is relatively evenly distributed in PE-LD.Compared with CTS,QCTS can significantly improve antibacterial properties of the composite.The antibacterial properties and the tensile modulus of elasticity are increased along with increasing QCTS amounts,but the tensile strength and elongation at break of the composite are decreased.When the mass fraction of QCTS is 20%,the antibacterial rates are both 99%against escherichia coil and staphylococcus aureus,the tensile strength is(10.55±0.11)MPa,the tensile modulus of elasticity is around(109.08±1.25)MPa,and the elongation at break is(11.90±1.28)%.
