"三皇之世"传说是华夏先民思考政治思想的基本问题所给出的最初一批答案,其主题涉及世界观的基本问题、社会观的基本问题和政治观的基本问题,即宇宙及天地的本源问题、社会及人类的本源问题和国家及君主的本源问题,其给出的答案是神创造了天地、人类、国家、君主。"三皇五帝"传说具有鲜明的强调圣王的历史作用的导向。这种导向来自一个从华夏国家产生之初的典型的神创说向神创圣作说演化的过程。这种演化趋势推动政治理论向圣创国家说和人创国家说演化。从世界史的角度看,中国是最先有著名思想家在政治理论上彻底摒弃神创国家说的国度。这种历史现象表明,中国政治思想的意义之源可以追溯到传说中的"三皇五帝"时代。

The legend of"Age of Three Sovereigns"was the first answers to the basic questions of political thoughts given by the ancestors of Huaxia,which included basic questions of world view,social view and political view,namely the origin of the universe and the Heaven and the Earth,the origin of the society and human beings,the origin of state and monarch,for which the answer was:it was the god who created the Heaven and the Earth,human beings,state and monarch.The legend of"Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors"had a clear guidance of stressing the historical role of sage sovereign,which was originated from the evolution process from the legend of God Creation to the legend of God Creating Sages at the beginning of creation of Huaxia state.This evolution process pushed its political theory to develop to the doctrine of God Creating State and Human Creating State.From the worldwide view,China was the first country whose thinkers had completely abandoned the legend of God Creating State.This kind of historical phenomenon showed the origin of Chinese political thoughts can be traced back to the age of the legend of"Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors".
