摘要
本研究基于复杂动态系统理论,跟踪六名英语学习者15周内复述和叙述任务中的口语表现,旨在探索任务类型对口语复杂度、准确度、流利度(CAF)的影响。多元方差分析和可视化轨迹图表明:任务类型的影响有规律性特征,六名学习者复述任务中词汇复杂度都高于叙述任务;任务类型的影响存在个体差异,与CAF初始值和发展阶段有关;任务类型对CAF的影响呈现出动态稳定性和动态变化性,复述任务中各项指标的波动幅度一般大于叙述任务。
In light of complex dynamic systems theory,this longitudinal study aims to investigate the effects of task type on complexity,accuracy and fluency(CAF)by tracking six English learners’oral production in retelling and topic-given narration task within 15 weeks.MANOVA and visual double-line graphs have been employed to present and analyze data in this re-search.Results show that there are common features in task type,for instance,lexical complexity in retelling tasks is highe r than that in narration tasks for all learners.There also exist effectsinter-individual differences in task type effects,which is re-late dwith CAF initial levels and development stage.Task type effects change with time in two patterns:stability and variabili-ty.Finally,the fluctuations of oral production trajectories are greater in retelling tasks than those in narration tasks.
