摘要
美国宾夕法尼亚州社区学院认证是一种由第三方主导的评价活动。其认证主体由宾夕法尼亚州教育局、州职业教育委员会和学校认证咨询小组等构成。认证标准包含领导、学生、利益相关者和公众等六个方面。认证活动过程则由准备、现场评估、报告结果等四个环节构成。这一认证具有权威性和参与性,服务性和自愿性,制度化和规范化等特点,对目前我国高等职业院校评估建设有借鉴意义。
The accreditation of community colleges in Pennsylvania involves the evaluation of the third party.The accreditation is mainly conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education,the Pennsylvania State Board for Vocational Education,and the Institutional Accreditation Advisory Group.The standards of accreditation include indices of leadership,students,stakeholders and the public.The process of accreditation consists of preparation,on-site evaluation and so on.Overall,this accreditation system shows the characteristics of authority,participatory,serviceability,voluntariness,systematization and standardization and thus providing references to the accreditation system construction of Chinese higher vocational colleges.
