摘要
研究采用动窗技术和句子-图片匹配范式,以隐含物体形状信息的句子和图片为实验材料,以被试对图片的反应时间为因变量指标,探讨二语学习者在阅读过程中物体形状信息在头脑中的表征方式。实验在英文条件下验证知觉符号理论,采用匹配样本t检验对图片的反应时进行分析,结果发现在二语条件下句图匹配的反应时间显著短于不匹配的反应时间。由此表明二语学习者在阅读句子过程中也激活了物体的知觉符号,从而支持知觉符号系统理论。
This paper adopts the moving window technology and the sentence-picture matching paradigm to explore how the implicit perceptual information on object shape is represented during language comprehension in English.The experimental materials are composed of pictures and sentences which imply the shapes of the object.The experiment examines the prediction of perceptual symbol system on the basis of L2 language comprehension.The response latency and the respond correct rate of recognition task are analyzed with paired sample t test.The results show that response latency in the mismatched condition is distinctly more than that in the matched condition to indicate that L2 learners also activate the perceptual symbols during language comprehension and support the perceptual symbol system as well.
