Shiyan is a city rising as a result of small third-front construction in Western Hubei,with a large number of third-front construction heritages,such as Dongfeng Motor Co.,Ltd,Xiangyu Railway,Danjiangkou Reservoir,Huanglongtan Reservoir and five factories and one hospital of the General Logistics Department.The third front construction has become the most bright urban feature of Shiyan City.Therefore,it is a long-term and important arduous task to better study the basic situation and explore the further value of the third-front construction in Shiyan and give a better protection to its heritage.
