摘要
听配能(listeningeffort)作为一个特殊的听觉功能维度,描述了听力障碍患者在日常生活中为了克服无法用单纯耳蜗听神经功能和中枢听觉传导通路障碍解释的听觉困难和挑战,动用的大脑内源性认知储备。听配能无法用传统听力测试或心理声学测试测量评估,但是它可以通过心理生理测量技术得到量化。然而,随着年龄增长,人体生理结构及对外界刺激反应会发生变化,给听配能测量带来挑战,影响研究结果的解读。本文聚焦目前测量听配能信效度最高的瞳孔追踪技术,讨论运用该技术在量化老年人听配能时的特殊考虑。
Listening effort is considered a special dimension that accounts for the extra mental resource invested and/or the disadvantages experienced by the persons with hearing loss in daily life. This non-audiologic construct can not be assessed with traditional audiometric or psychoacoustic test,however, it may be quantified by psychophysiological techniques. Human’s physiological functions and their sensitivities to external stimuli vary with age, resulting in challenges for accurately assessing listening effort in older populations. In this article, we focus on the most reliable and valid technique of listening effort measures employed so far, and discuss the challenges and solutions of its application in geriatrics.
