Common Assistive Listening Devices for the Elderly Hearing Impaired

辅助听觉装置是帮助听障者更好地感知声音或识别各种声信号、警报信号的设备,尤其是在复杂的聆听环境中,有助听器不可替代的作用。本文综述了目前适合老年听障者的辅助听觉装置,包括其工作原理、临床应用及优缺点,为今后老年听障者辅助听觉装置的发展提供支持。

Assistive listening devices(ALDs) are used to help the hearing impaired have better perception of sound or recognize different signals of sound and alarm. Compared with hearing aids, ALDs play an irreplaceable part especially in some complex listening environments. This article summarizes several kinds of ALDs for the elderly hearing impaired to provide support for future development, including ALDs’ working principle, clinical application, strengths and weaknesses.
