Xi Jinping’s view of the New Era is his theoretical answer to questions of our time.It carries on and develops Marxist idea of time,while taking into account domestic and international realities,and is therefore imbued with historical materialistic implications. It takes people in reality as a point of departure,and the development of productive forces as a basis to arrive at the important conclusion that the free and full development of people is the ultimate goal of the New Era. An analysis of this view from the perspective of historical materialism will deepen our understanding of its theoretical and realistic significance for the building of a well-off Chinese society,for the realization of the great Chinese dream,and for the building of a community of all mankind with a shared future.
