Analysis of the Potential Impact of Autonomous Driving on Vehicle Fuel Efficiency

自动驾驶是影响未来出行方式的重要技术。本文对自动驾驶技术对汽车燃油效率影响划分为六个方面,并结合国内外相关研究进行总结分析和量化评估。研究结果表明,整体而言,自动驾驶技术可改善汽车燃油效率,但是自动驾驶技术使得汽车内部娱乐等功能的增加,也存在恶化汽车的燃油效率的风险。

Autonomous driving is an important technology that affects future travel modes.This paper divides the impact of autonomous driving technology on automobile fuel efficiency into six aspects,and conducts a summary analysis and quantitative evaluation based on relevant domestic and foreign research.The results of the study show that,generally speaking,autonomous driving technology can improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles,but autonomous driving technology increases the interior entertainment and other functions of the car,and there is also the risk of worsening the fuel efficiency of the car.
