Analysis on the Limitation of PHC Pile Applied in Deep Foundation Pit Engineering

PHC管桩具有施工速度快、工程造价低等优点,广泛用于基础工程中,但在基坑工程中应用较少。结合福建漳州港某基坑支护工程实例,详细介绍了PHC管桩在基坑支护工程中的应用,并通过该工程设计方案的比选和工程实际应用的效果,探讨了PHC管桩在基坑支护工程中的适用性和局限性。PHC管桩的抗弯能力小、桩长过短及对地质条件要求高等因素限制其在基坑工程中的应用范围,应在生产和设计应用中对其抗弯性能和接头型式作出改进,从而扩大PHC管桩在基坑工程中的应用范围,以取得经济效益且大大缩短工期。

The PHC pile has the advantages of fast construction speed and low engineering cost,and is widely used in foundation engineering,but it is seldom used in foundation pit engineering.This paper introduces the application of PHC pile in the foundation pit supporting project,through the comparison and selection of the design scheme and the effect of the practical application of the project,the applicability and limitation of PHC pile in foundation pit support engineering are discussed.The application scope of PHC pile in foundation pit engineering is limited by its low bending capacity,too short pile length and high geological requirements,the flexural performance and joint type should be improved in production and design application,so as to expand the application scope of PHC pile in foundation pit engineering,which has achieved great economic benefit and greatly shortened the construction period.
