茶禅文化是茶文化在数千年历史发展进程之中与佛、释、道三教融合发展而成的产物。茶的现实功能及精神特性决定了“茶”与“禅”的结合是历史必然,而二者结合的最高境界便是“茶禅一味”。茶禅文化内涵丰富,其“正、清、和、雅”的精神底蕴之于当今社会及世界文明的发展具有重要价值,小至怡情养性、提升人的精神境界,大至净化社会风气、推动和谐社会的构建,还有利于促进中外文化交流,让中华优秀文化走向世界。可以说,茶禅文化是世界人民的共同财富。
