Application Prospects of Smart Polymers in Automobiles

智能材料具有随着环境变化而变化的能力,并在军事、航天技术、医疗、建筑等领域中有广泛的应用。为提高汽车的智能化水平,对形状记忆材料、自修复材料、剪切增稠材料、自清洁材料等智能高分子材料进行了分析,前瞻了这些智能高分子材料应用于汽车的可能性,并对这些智能高分子材料在汽车上应用的研究方向进行展望。

Smart materials with sensitive responsiveness to the environmental changes would find a wide application in military,aerospace,medical,construction and other fields.In order to improve the intelligence level of automobiles,several types of smart polymers are analyzed,such as shape memory materials,self-healing materials,shear-thickening materials and self-cleaning materials.The possibility of applying these smart polymers to automobiles are foreseen and further prospects of the research directions of these smart polymers are presented for automotive industry.
