The Ideological and Political Education in Academic English for Polymer Materials

课程思政理念的引入有效地促进了高等学校教育教学改革发展。在专业课程中适当引入思政内容,提高课程思政的教学质量水平,对学生进行价值正确引领,塑造理想信念,提升文化自信,是高等学校教学面临的重要问题。本文作者在《高分子材料专业英语》教学中,对课程思政进行了实践。从专业词汇词头词根总结、一词多义、形近单词和单词拓展入手,结合课前一分钟形式,恰当引入中国共产党章程、《十九大报告》、习近平总书记的重要报告以及中华传统文化中的经典名句,自然地把德育教育渗透入专业课程,在传授专业知识的同时,引领学生坚持正确政治方向,引导学生树立正确的世界观、人生观和价值观。

The introduction of curriculum ideological and political ideas effectively promotes the reform and development of higher education.It is an important task for institutions for higher education to introduce ideological and political contents into professional courses.It is important to guide students with correct values,shape their ideals and beliefs,and enhance their cultural confidence.This article has carried on the practice to the curriculum thought and politics in"Academic English for Polymer Materials"teaching.From professional vocabulary prefix root summary,polysemant,words with similar spelling,combining form one minute before class,the classic sentences from the Constitution of the Communist Party of China(CPC),Report to the 19 th CPC National Congress,Xi Jinping’s important reports as well as in the Chinese traditional culture were introduced.The moral educations are naturally penetrated into the major courses.Lead students to persist to the correct political orientation,guide the student to set up the correct world outlook,the outlook on life and values.
