Multiple Expression of Medical Body:Understanding and Observation of the Three Body Theories in Traditional Miao Medicine

不同医学传统对身体的认识不同,一种医学传统只存在一种身体模型,这是人们对医学身体的主流认知。以苗医三大身体理论为例,指出苗医存在多种不同的身体模型,而这些不同身体模型之间的差异表明苗医身体更多是基于理论依赖的,而非单纯的客观存在,也为人们理解医学身体的多元性提供更多可探讨的空间。

Different medical traditions have different understandings on the body.It is the mainstream cognition on medical body that one medical tradition is based on only one body model.Focusing on the three body theories in traditional Miao medicine,this paper points out that traditional Miao Medicine is based on several different body models.The difference between these models indicates that the body in traditional Miao Medicine is characterized more with theoretical dependence than with simple objective existence,which provides more perspectives for us to understand the diversity of the medical body.
