中国近现代工业化学家--张泽垚

Chinese Modern Industrial Chemist Zhang Zeyao

张泽垚是中国近现代工业化学家。20世纪初他留美回国后投身于中国化工教育事业与国家工业化建设事业,对国立北京大学、北京女子师范大学、私立江南大学与华东化工学院化工系的发展做出重要贡献;并且他面向社会开展化工普及工作,促进了我国陶瓷学会的建立与发展。2020年是张泽垚逝世50周年,特撰文纪念他。对张泽垚生平的梳理,可以从一个侧面反映出中国近现代化工教育发展历程。

Zhang Zeyao is a modern Chinese chemical engineer.In the early 20th centrary,he returned to China after studying in the United States and committed himself to China’s chemical engineering education and national industrialization.He made significant contributions to the development of the department of chemical engineering in National Peking University,Beijing Women's Normal University,Private Jiangnan University,and East China University of Science and Technology.His efforts to popularize chemical engineering to the society promoted the foundation and development of the Chinese Ceramic Society.This article is written to honor him on the 50th anniversary of his death.A review of his life can reflect the development of China’s chemical engineering education in modern history.
