On the Critique of Digital Imperialism by Contemporary Western Left Wing

根据"文化—信息—数字"这一演化进程,新帝国主义已经发展到了数字帝国主义阶段。西方左翼认为,数字帝国主义谋求政治和经济权力的"领土逻辑"与"资本逻辑"没有改变,反而由于获得数字资源的支撑而得到进一步强化。在这一判断的基础上,西方左翼构建起了数字帝国主义批判的研究范式和逻辑框架。我们应克服"美化数字"和"否定数字"的两种认识论误区,向国际社会提供互联互通的中国技术和中国方案,推进共建共享的网络空间命运共同体建设。

The neo-imperialism has reached the stage of digital imperialism according to the evolutionary process of "culture-information-the digital".The Western left observe the "logic of territory" and "logic of capital" of digital imperialism in its quest for political and economic power has not changed,but has been further strengthened by access to digital resources.On the basis of this judogment,the Western left have constructed a research paradigm and logical framework for the critique of digital imperialism.In this regard,we should overcome the two epistemological misunderstandings of digital glorification and digital negation,provide the international community with Chinese technologies and solutions for connectivity,and promote the construction of a community of common and shared destiny in cyberspace.
